Which brings us to the new PAM 982, a "pre-SIHH" announcement that was made before the 2019 show in January. This is a completely new Panerai reference that borrows the minimalist architecture of the PAM 1389 diver's watch dial and combines it with the titanium case and 47mm PAM 615 Flyback chronograph movement, while combining two completely new elements: a Matte blue ceramic bezel, and a "shark gray" speckled dial. The reverse of the case is engraved with the silhouette of a diver, a small school of fish (however inexplicable its presence may be), along with Nery's signature and personal best of 126 meters.
